Swallow Linocut Print

Here’s my linocut print of one of my favourite birds - The Swallow. I look forward to their arrival in Spring, enjoy their aerial acrobatics throughout Summer and feel genuine sadness at their departure in Autumn/Fall. I wanted to capture their grace, high in the air, as they feed.
My print is on beautiful ivory hued heavyweight paper, sized 210mm x 297mm (A4) with a printed image area of 198mm x 148mm, an ideal fit for most standard picture frames.
The paper is Somerset Velvet Antique with a luxurious 280gsm weight, and as you can see, the print embosses the paper quite deeply, lending depth to the print.
