Moon & Hare Linocut Print

Here is my Moon & Hare linocut print, consisting of a three plate print in three deepening shades of blue.

There is something magical about the hare, the very epitome of wildlife in the British countryside. No-one can be unmoved at the sight of a hare as it lopes through the headgerows and furrows of a ploughed field.

I wanted to capture the blue light of of a moonlit night, the deep shadows and stark light on fur and field.

This print is on beautiful Italian Fabriano Unica paper, a sturdy 250gsm, and is sized 297 x 400mm to fit a standard A3 frame

It is a limited run of 200 and each print will be signed and numbered by myself, the artist.
