Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Linoprint

There’s no finer sight in Spring than that of the cherry blossom. Celebrated in Japan during the Sakura Festival, cherry blossom is considered one of the most beautiful & spectacular sights on Earth.
Inspired by this, I offer my own take on Japanese Cherry Blossom art for sale.
The moon rises at dusk behind blossom in a full bloom of soft pinks and whites.
This is a loose design, adding smudges of white to blur the pink making each print unique and giving a gentler feel than many linocuts.
This print is on beautiful Kitakata Select Japanese Washi paper.
